abstract art executed on fabric
This is another one of my older abstract paintings on canvas, fashion images are by Jiovani and Alberta makali of edressme.com.Just before making my post which was going to be about Tracy Reese's home accessories,my search lead me to edressme.com that showcases some of her fashion designs, her website iswww. tracyreese.com, I love her Saigon preppy coloured printed bedding, she founded her printed fabrics collection in 2006.With several digital printing services like karmakraft, spoonflower, printondemand among others that do wide format printing on textiles, artists and designers with resources have several options to choose from.www.barneydavey.com has a blog that's valuable for anyone in the visual arts and design field who wants to make an extra buck.

Abstract art
To create this use a hair blow drier to spread the wet paint[acrylic paint] and manually paint other areas of interest according to how you want the finished canvas to look, use white or lighter shades in between spills to create interest .Second image is of details from first canvas.Click photos for larger image.

painted cushion covers
I have been testing some fabrics to see which one responds well to painting and I am amazed by how the thermal lining does, very easy to work with but not sure about the texture, its rubbery or rather leather like on the right side, the wrong side has a coarse weave-ish texture.I will be doing this on a roman shade since the fabrics purpose is to block the sun from getting in.Above is the experiment's images.
